AMERICAN FRIED RICE
Wondering what in the world is ‘American Fried Rice’? Well, weirdly enough, it’s not an American dish, nor did it originate from the States. It’s apparently a Thai-Chinese fried rice dish accompanied by ‘American’ sides like fried chicken, sausages, ketchup, ham, raisins and fried egg.
Won’t blame you for asking who would eat raisins with their rice, honestly, I would ask the same if I hadn’t grown up eating this as a kid. This is one of the favorite dishes parents and families feed their child. So yummy and homey, I used to get so excited every time when they serve this at my school canteen.
Make the perfect sunny side up and drizzle the yolk all over your fried rice. You can shape it into anything you want to make cute and playful!
